Evelyn Anite

Anite Evelyn is a distinguished Ugandan entrepreneur, business executive, and former public servant.

She is the CEO/Chair Person of Anitez Group of Companies, a diversified enterprise with investments in hospitality, education, cosmetics, textiles, and other strategic sectors. Under her leadership, the Group has established and grown successful brands including Hotel Le' Confidentiel, Country Motel, Diva Cosmetics, Anitex, Diva Textile, and Little Explorers School, contributing to economic growth, employment creation, and quality service delivery across Uganda.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University, a Master of Arts in International Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Senior Executive Program certificate from Harvard Business School.

Her academic background, combined with her extensive leadership experience, has equipped her with the strategic vision to lead both public institutions and private enterprises with excellence.

Prior to focusing on business, Anite served Uganda in several distinguished leadership positions, including State Minister for Privatization and Investment, State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Youth Member of Parliament for Northern Uganda, and Member of Parliament for Koboko Municipality. She also served on various parliamentary committees and boards, contributing to policy development, governance, investment promotion, and national development.

Before entering public service, Anite built a strong foundation in media and communications through news monitoring, radio scripting, broadcasting, and public engagement. These experiences strengthened her communication and leadership skills, which continue to influence her approach to business and organizational management.

Today, Anite is dedicated to expanding the reach and impact of Anitez Group of Companies while championing entrepreneurship, innovation, quality education, and sustainable business practices. Her commitment to empowering communities, creating opportunities, and investing in future generations continues to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders across Uganda and beyond.
